Madison will be heading to Daytona, Florida on January 28th! An official photographer for the U.S. Soccer Team heard Madison sing at the U.S. Womenʼs Cup in September and contacted her through YouTube. His message read, “Iʼve worked the NHL, NFL and NBA and heard incredible renditions of the star spangled banner and I was stunned by your fantastic and powerful national anthem. Iʼve never heard an anthem quite as good.” Within one day of contacting Madison; the Photographer sent an e-mail referral to the head of NASCAR entertainment. Within days, Madison was contacted to sing for the 50th Anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Madison will sing the National Anthem in front of a sell-out crowd of over 100,000+ and potentially be televised to millions of viewers by Fox Sports. The Daytona 24 hour is the most watched and listened to motorsports event in America. Madison Shanley will be singing the National Anthem for the North American Cup Fencing Championships at the Oregon Convention Center.
This a cappella musical thriller is based on the play of the same name. The original non-musical version was commissioned by Lincoln High School in 2003 and premiered with Stark Raving Theatre’s Stark in the Schools program in the spring of 2004. The show received city-wide coverage from The Oregonian and OPB and was regarded as a bold and important piece, authentically exploring the world of adolescence in an unapologetic way. This is the 2nd year that Madison has been asked to sing the National Anthem for the Professional Bull Riders Competition. There was a crowd of approximately 10,000 in attendance. In addition; to the impressive display of pyrotechnics for the opening ceremony; Madison had about 100 bulls kicking and snorting behind her while she was flawlessly performing.
